Pirahnahs, and Zoos, and Kids OH MY!
Since I never really got to establish anything about me last time and just decided to complain about the difficulty of making this blog (which really is nobel prize worthy) I think i might redeem myself. This weekend i am with my dad. We are planning to go to the zoo tomorrow in celebration of my sisters late birthday. Now my brother who is fourteen is all lik"Oh, I don't want to go to the zoo, I'm just too cool and emo for that" doesn't want to go. Now we have very little age difference and I'm like "ohmygosh! the zoo!" that was an exageration. But really, the zoo is pretty awesome. But that just brings me back to one instance that freaked me out.
We were on the Leap trip in washington and we were visiting the rainforest section of some historic building thats not really a zoo but is. All the fishtanks were at waist level and had no top so you could pet the turtles and stingrays and such. but i was reading the sign of one of the cages that said "PIRAHNAHS DO NOT TOUCH" I'm thinking, you put the tank at waist level with no top that little five year olds are just gonna reach in without thinking. I thought and i was thinking that. You. Are. Idiots. Back to my story.
The zoo. animals. smell. got it. As I was saying, the zoo is pretty cool. On a field trip we spent like an hour and a half in the avairy instead of writing down scientific names of some stupid baboons like we were supposed too. The avairy was pretty cool.
Our church is doing a VBS this week and asked the Youth Group to help out. not like we had a say in it. So My Best friend Sarah and I got to sing and teach the little kids the songs about action heroes. since I'm like some energetic chipmunk like on over the hedge Sarah And ariel keep me sane. or at least partway sane. So Sarah and I went up to her dad just joking and were like "so is it alright if sarah comes with me to my dads house tonight, you could come pick her up in a week or two" And he and my get to talking and my dad mentions that we were going to the zoo tomorrow, and they were actually considering letting sara come. Sarah and i were thinking, "we were just joking but okay! we're cool with this" So it all actually turns out well. We're probably going to be picking sarah up tomorrow morning and she's going to go to the zoo with us.
Cool Beans.
